Our main goal is to raise awareness about missing Latinos in Georgia and to overcome the barriers of language, legal status, culture, and education. It is crucial to challenge unfair assumptions, foster a positive relationship between law enforcement and the Latino community, and gain full support from the media to launch awareness campaigns about missing Latinos. This will ensure that every case receives equal attention and investigative efforts, ultimately benefiting our community.

Secondly, the goal is to provide support to crime victims and/or families and help them through the recovery process. There has been a noted lack of support for Latino victims and their families, leading to uncertainty about the aftermath of reporting a crime or confusion about the criminal justice process after the loss of a loved one. Our priority is to offer guidance, tools, and resources to these individuals, and WeLATINOS is dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality in their communication with victims. 

Lastly, provide essential education to the Latino community in Georgia on crime prevention and to establish programs that empower Latinos. Our focus is on working closely with parents to help them cultivate better relationships with their children and creating activities to enhance family communication. Human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual abuse have seen an alarming increase in our community. There has been a lack of education provided to the Latino community in Spanish, leading to severe repercussions. As WeLATINOS, we are resolute in our commitment to raising awareness and providing education on these critical issues.
